I saw someone I didn't want to see....
I saw Sa3ad...

Why the hell is he here...
He was standing next to my cousin Bader...

Bader is a close cousin to me...
We use to always play together when we were younger...
He is like a brother to me...

I kissed my mother and step dad....
Salamt 3ala my cousins...
I spotted one of my cousins which was really close to me...
She is Bader's sister...
Shahad...
I love her...
She's like the sister i never had...
She knows everything about me...
She is my other half....

Shahad has long straight black thick hair...
Her eyes are big and pretty and she has small lips...

I kissed her and huggd her tightly...
I missed her soooooo much...


Shahad: "Ya 7aywanna i missed you..."
Shoug: "I missed you too..."
Shahad: "Tara ilyom r7 itnameen 3indina..."
Shoug: "Wanasa so i can tell you everything about what happened...!!!"


9ager was saying hi to my parents and hugging the boys and whatever...

I spotted Jaber I ran to him and hugged his and kissed him...

Jaber: "Ollllla ishda3wa....."
Shoug: "Ya3ni you didn't miss me...."
Jaber: "La ya maynoona I missed you akeed... But i missed teasing you more than anything...."

I slapped his arm playfully

Shoug: "Ana a3lmik...."
Jaber: "La 5ala9 5ala9... Ila 3ala za3alich ya 7ilwa...."

I giggled...


Then Bader came to me and Sa3ad was standing next to him...
Ewwwww... Now he is going to give me looks....

Bader: "Ha Shoug... Shlonich..???"
Shoug: "Zaina... Shonik?"
Bader: "Tamam...I missed you..."
Shoug: "Awww i missed you too my childhood friend..."

I giggled...
And so did he....

Bader: "Oh this is my friend Sa3ad..."
Sa3ad: "Gwa Shoug Shlonich...?" He gave me a dirty look...

He knew that 9ager loved me and that i was with him...
He was jealous....
He wanted me to be his...
But he was just a brother to me...

Shoug: "Allah ygaweek... Tamam.... W enta Shlonik?"
Sa3ad: "Tamam...!!"
Bader: "Wait you know each other..."
Shoug: "Ya he is with me in University.."
Bader: "Oh... Cool.."

Bader is open minded...
He was my childhood friend...
We used to always play together..
He used to always protect me...


Mama: "Yalla lets go home..."
Shahad: "5alti can Shoug come over please... please...?"
Mama: "Okay bs first come over to our house let Shoug changed and take a shower and rest a bit... Then Komar can take you..."
Shahad: "Okay...."


9ager was talking with Jaber...
I don't know what they were saying..
But they were both smiling a me..
I just smiled back....


I went home...
Took a shower and Shahad waited for me in my room...
I got changed so i can go to Shahad's house..
I wore a knee high light purple dress...
With black high heels...
And black accessorise...
I put some make up and put some of my Rouge Artist Intense Matt Number 4...

Shahad: "Yalla Shoug...."
Shoug :"Yalla i am done one second bs...."

I quickly got out my blackberry to check on 9ager...

I found that he sent me some BBM's:

I quickly got my bag and went downstairs...
I had my PJ'S and toothbrush since i was sleeping over...
But we weren't really going to sleep...
I don't really know why they call it a sleep over....
We stay up all night......
We barely sleep....

I rode the car with Shahad...
And Komar drove...

We got to Shahad's house....
Bader was sitting in the living room and guess who was sitting next to him....


"SA3AD......"

Offfffffffffffffffffff waiiiiiiii3...

We quickly went into Shahad's room..
We sat and i told her everything....
I told her about 9ager and everything that happened and the brain memory problem and how he made me fall in love with him everyday...

Shahad's eyes were wide open and she was smiling...

Shahad: "Emmm Shoug i have to tell you something too..."
Shoug: "Shino??"
Shahad: "I am with someone..!!"
Shoug: "Mino..?"
Shahad: "Majid...!!"
Shoug: "Mino hatha?.."
Shahad: "He is with me in University..."

Shahad is in AUK....

Shoug: "Ooooohhhhhh...."


Me and Shahad sat and talked about our boys....
She talked about Majid..
While i talked about 9ager....

Then we decided to watch SCREAM 4...
We sat in bed and watched it while eating popcorn...
I was talking to 9ager....
There was a scary part so Shahad held me tightly...
Suddenly someone knocked the door...

SHAHAD+SHOUG: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..."

We jumped from our places...
The popcorn fell on the floor...

In came Bader and Sa3ad...

Shahad: "Allah ya5ithkom inzain..."
Shoug: "You scared the hell out of us...'

They just kept laughing at us....

Shahad: "Bader what do you want...?"
Bader: "Ta3alay one second i want to tell you something Shahad.."
Shahad: "Okay..."

Shahad went outside the room with Bader...
Leaving me and Sa3ad alone...


Sa3ad: "Shoug i missed you..."
He moved towards the door and locked it...
He then took the key and put it in his pocket...

My heart skipped a beat...

Shoug: "What are you doing...!!"
I kept sitting on Shahad's bed..

Sa3ad then moved towards me and sat next to me...
He came close and began to whisper in my ear...

Sa3ad: "I need you Shoug...  I want you... Leave 9ager.. 9ager 7aywan... I won't let him take you from me...."
Shoug: "Enta il 7aywan... Wa5r 3ani....."
I got up and left him sitting on the bed...
I walked towards the door... I was about to knock and bang the door so Shahad can come....

He ran towards me and held my arm...

Sa3ad: "WAIT..." He said angrily...
Shoug: "Wa5r 3ani or i will scream wallah..."
Sa3ad: "Scream and see what i will do to you Shoug..."

He pushed me towards the wall...
My head bumped the wall hardly....

I was scared...
I began to cry...
My head was hurting me...
My heart was beating fast...

I didn't know what to do..
I closed my eyes tighly..
He was whispering in my ears...

Sa3ad: "Enta r7 it9eereen 7agy.. Let 9ager go to hell... You are mine now...!!"

I had an idea...
I didn't know what to do..
This was my chance...
I lifted my leg and hit him with all my strength in his private place..
He fell on the floor...

Sa3ad: "Ouuuccccchhhhhhh..."

I quickly ran towards the window and opened it...
I jumped out since Shahad's room was on the ground floor...
I looked to find Sa3ad getting up...
He looked in pain...
He deserved it...

I ran as fast as i could...
I was crying...

I heard someone call my name...
I turned to find Sa3ad running after me...

I ran and ran and ran.....
It was dark..
I was crying..
I didn't know what was infront of me i just kept on running...

I could hear Sa3ad..

Sa3ad: "Shoug... Shoug ta3alay... Shoug wait... Ya 7aywana... I will show you... If you don't stop now i will kill you... Shoug.."
He kept on yelling...

I turned my head to look if Sa3ad was going to catch me...
I wanted to know if he was close...
He was getting closer...

I was getting tired...
And i was crying...
My heart was beating fast...


I turned my head to face forward...
I bumped into this tall figure.......

The time went by and it became 11.30am...
9ager was still sleeping....
I was getting sooo bored...
I decided to go and wake up 9ager...

I got up and unlocked the door...
I put my hand on the handle and pulled the handle downwards...

I knocked on 9agers door and opened his door...

The lights were off but the curtains were open and so the room was bright...
I looked at his bed...
It was messy... But there was no one sleeping...

I looked around the room...
I walked to see if he was in the bathroom...
But there was no one...

I suddenly noticed a figure in the balcony of the room...

The balcony had two comfortable classy chairs...
I moved towards the balcony and opened the door...
I saw 9ager sitting down on one of the chairs...
He was wearing his PJ'S
He had his headphones on... He was looking at the lovely view of the balcony....

I poked his shoulder...

He jumped... And quickly took off his headphones...

9ager: "Oh hi Shoug... Emmmm... Oh let me explain.... We are in America and we are here because..."

I gave him a weird look...
I interrupted him...

Shoug: "Ishfeek 9ager....?"
9ager: "La mafenii...." He suddenly jumped.... "What did you say...?"

He turned his whole body towards me to face me fully...
I gave him a look wich mean "What's wrong with you..."

Shoug: "Ishfeek 9ager..."
9ager: "You know my name..!!!" He looked shocked...
Shoug: "9ager your freaking me out what's wrong..?"
9ager: "Shoug you remembered...!!" He had a wide smile on his face
Shoug: "Remembered what..?"
9ager: "Never mind never mind....."
Shoug: "Ishfeek 9ager..? I came here cause i was bored alone..."
9ager: "Shoug can you tell me everything you know...!!"
Shoug: "Ha.... About what?"
9ager: "Ya3ni why are we in America... And whatever..!!"
Shoug: "9ager what are you forgetting like me..? We are here in America cause i have this brain problem... I keep on forgetting what happened yesterday..... Emmmm.... But wait i remember what happened yesterday... You took me to the park...! What...? Is this stupid brain memory problem going away?!"
9ager: "Shoug 7ayatii wallah... Ta3alay...!!"

He held my hand and pulled me and made me sit on his lap....
He huged me...

I felt his muscles...
I could smell the men perfume he had on...
I felt safe...
I wanted to stay in his arms forever...

I suddenly felt awkward so i moved a bit...
He then let go of me...

9ager: "Sorry but i was so happy i didn't know what to do...."
Shoug: "Emmm it's okay..."

He stared into my eyes and smiled...
I adored his dimpled smile...

I got up cause i felt that is was weird...

9ager: "Go dress up... I will take you to the hospital..!!"
Shoug: "Okay bs call my mum first... Okay..?"
9ager: "Okay...!"

I went and got dressed..
I wore the USA flag shirt with the greenish pants and i wore blue high heels...
I left my hair down....

I went to find 9ager ready and waiting for me...

Shoug: "Kalamt Omy?"
9ager: "Eee...!!"
Shoug: "Inzain yalla 5al namshy..."
9ager: "Yalla..."

Doctor: "Hello Shoug... How are you..?"
Shoug: "Fine..!"

Me and 9ager were sitting in the Doctors office...
His furniture was classy...

Doctor: "I heard you didn't forget what happened yesterday!!!"
Shoug: "Yes i still remember..!!"
Doctor: "Can you come with me so we can do some check ups..!!"
Shoug: "Okay...!!"


I was about to get up when 9ager grabbed my hand

9ager: "Lat5afeen ana r7 an8ir miny... r7 ashtaglich... Na6rich 3ala naaaaaaar..."

I blushed at his words....
He was so sweet...

Shoug: "A7bik...!!!"
9ager: "Mo kithry..." He winked..

9ager talked in Arabic infront of the Doctor cause he didn't want the Doctor to know what we are saying... Since the Doctor was American..

The doctor took me to a room and made all the check ups...
When we were done we went back to his office...
9ager was inside and he was waiting for us...
He had his Blackberry in his hand...

When he saw us he closed his blackberry and stood up...
I sat infront of 9ager and 9ager sat back down... The Doctor sat behind his desk...

The Doctor was an old man with white hair....
He wore glasses and his face was wrinkled...

Doctor: "According to the check up, Shoug is rememebering... She now should rememeber what happened in September... And she should remember everything.... To make sure i want you to ask her a question about what happened between you.."

9ager: "Okay... Shoug wain il mokan ily i3tarft ib7oby lich?"
Shoug: "Emmmmmmm...."

9ager looked worried, I can see it in his eyes...
If i didn't answer right i knew i was going to break his heart...
I didn't want to do that...

Shoug: "Lama kina ib 360 mall, 5athatney bara... W ga3dna 3ala a bench..."

9agers eyes turned from worry to happiness...
He had a wide smile on his face...

9ager looked at the doctor..

9ager: "She answered right...."
Doctor: "Ahhhhhh Good good.... " He said it in a joyful voice... "You remember Shoug... Now no need for you guys to stay here... You can go back to Kuwait... I hope you two lovers a very good life..."

Me and 9ager looked shocked...
How did he know...

Doctor: "For your information i know when two people love each other... And plus i understand Arabic... Ma3 il salama...."

Me and 9ager smiled...
We got up and headed to the door...
9ager then slipped his hand into mine..

I looked at him and smiled shyly...

I was lucky to have someone like 9ager to care for me and love me...
I was sooooooooooooo happy i don't know how to describe it.......

We decided to call my mum...

Mum: "Aloo..."
Shoug: "Aloo halla yuma... Ana Shoug... Yuma i remember everything, everything..."
Mum: "Ahhhhhh 7ayatii wallah... Yalla we reserved two tickets for you and 9ager for today night... Inshallah in the morning you guys will be in Kuwait..."
Shoug: "Ishtagtlich yoma..."
Mama: "W ana ba3ad ya 3omrii..."
Shoug: "Yalla Mama ma a6wil 3alach..."
Mama: "Yalla ma3 il salama...."

We closed the phone...
Me and 9ager spent the whole of the day in the hotel...
We sat and watched TV...
We had lunch in the hotel... As we ordered food...
Suddenly after eating, 9ager began to talk...

9ager: "Shoug r7 an8ir till you become 18 and then your going to be mine...."
Shoug: "9ager it's still early..."
9ager: "No it's not... Your turning 17 in a month..."
Shoug: "Eee I know, Ta3al 9ager, when is your birthday you never told me!!!"
9ager: "The same day yours is...!!" He smiled...
Shoug: "What... Your on November 26..????"
9ager: "Eeeee....."
Shoug: "Wanasa.....That's so fun!!"
9ager: "La t'3ayreen il salfa...."
Shoug: "Walla mo chithy... Bs...."
9ager: "Ya3ni Shoug you don't want to marry me... You don't love me..." 9ager said sadly.. He got up and started to pack his bag to get ready for the plane...

I got up and followed him...

Shoug: "9ager wait..."

He ignored me....

Shoug: "9ager please... Don't do this..!!!"

He kept on ignoring me...

Shoug: "9ager..."

He stopped and turned to face me...

9ager: "If you don't want to marry Shoug i can't force you it's up to you... Shoug I told you I love you and want to marry you 3ala sonat allah w rasolh... W ba3dain..."

He suddenly stopped talking...
He stopped becuase of me...
I put my hand in his...
He looked down at our hands....
I then suddenly said

Shoug: "9ager ana a7bik..........."

I felt my heart beat faster when I said that...


Shoug: "I really do truly love you 9ager... I love you with all my heart and i am willing to live with you all my life..."

9ager stared into my eyes and i kept staring into his eyes...
I could feel him squeezing my hands tightly...
I felt safe... I felt the heat of his hands run through my body..
The atmosphere was getting tenser again...
My heart was beating faster...
I adored his eyes...
Those amazing brown sparkling shiny eyes...
Which looked at me with love and care..
These eyes which were surrounded with thick black eyelashes...


After a long time he talked...

9ager: "Abich itkoonin yambi Shoug.. I wanna wake up every morning and find you next to me.. I wanna see your eyes every day.. I want you to be mine.. I don't want anyone to share you with me.. I want your heart and your eyes and your lips and your hands and you to be mine... Abich for me.."
Shoug: "I will 9ager... One day i will.."
9ager: "I am dieing for this day to come..."

I felt that i had to change the subject...

Shoug: "Shino il 7ilow tawa za3lan min 7abebta..?" I slapped his arm playfully..
9ager: "Shlon az3al minich... Magdar..!!!"

I giggled...

9ager: "You know that you stole my heart... I don't know what you did to me..."
Shoug: "I know... I am wicked...." I laughed....

9ager laughed along...

At last it was time to leave...
We checked out the hotel and went to the airport..
We rode the airplane and travelled....

At last we got to Kuwait....
I was so happy i was back home...
We got down the airplane and got our bags..
It was morning in Kuwait.. 9am..

The doors opened and I walked in...
I looked around.. I was searching for my mum...
9ager was right next to me..
He was holding the bags...


At last i spotted my mum from a distance...
My brothers and step dad came...
All my cousins and aunties and uncles were there, so was Lulu.....


But I spotted somebody else too...

Somebody I didn't want to see..


I wasn't in the mood at all....

Chapter 26

I am soooo happy today so i will post...

I made my hair in a messy bun and appiled some make up...
I put some of my Rouge Artist Intense Matt Number 4...
Then i sat in the brown hanged chair and put one leg over another...
I began to think of 9ager....

My hair looked like this:

Did 9ager really make me fall in love with him every single day...
Why is he doing this for me...
Why doesn't he just get another girl...
Why doesn't he leave me and find someone else...
I am just this girl with a stupid brain memory problem...

I adored him for giving up all this for me...
He made me fall in love with him every single day...
He was so kind, loving, adorable, understanding....

I began to move back and forth in the hanged chair...
I was enjoying it..
It was comfortable and relaxing...

Suddenly someone knocked on the door which was connected between me and 9agers room...
I knew it was 9ager...
I always locked the door...
I got up and opened the door for 9ager....

He was wearing a purple Polo shirt with beige shorts....
I felt as if i saw this purple shirt before...
It was familiar....
I was stopped with my thoughts by 9ager....

9ager: "Are you ready...."
Shoug: "Ya...." I smiled shyly...
9ager: "You look really pretty..."
Shoug: "Thank you..." I blushed...
9ager: "Yalla give me a twirl...!"
Shoug: "Mabii..."
9ager: "5ala9 mako 6al3a..."
Shoug: "Okay 5ala9 5ala9..."

I looked at 9ager and smiled...
Then i gave him a twirl...
My dress was amazing...

9ager kept staring at me...

I felt dizzy so i stopped...

Shoug: "Yalla 9ager... wain r7 inroo7?"
9ager: "Emmm where do u wanna go?"
Shoug: "I wanna go to the park..."
9ager: "Okay... Bs wait..."
Shoug: "What..?"

9ager came closer to me and sniffed me....

9ager: "You smell like Herbal Essences...Emmmmm....."

I giggled....
I got my bag and went with 9ager....

We rode the Taxi and we went to the park...
The park was so green and joyful..
There were children playing...
I walked towards the bench and sat down...
9ager sat down next to me...
I looked at him and smiled....
He gave me a dimpled smile...
I admired those dimpled smiles of his...

There was a sentence jumping in my head...
"I remember this purple shirt... I do...."
I decided to ask 9ager..

Shoug: "9ager...!!"
9ager: "3yoona...?"
Shoug: "I know its kinda weird but i remember this purple Polo shirt... I don't know why....!"
9ager: "Emmmm I wore it when i got you Starbucks.....!!"

When he said Starbucks i felt dizzy....



Flash back......

I was walking in the hall of the University...
I saw 9ager from a distance in the hallway...
He was wearing a purple Polo shirt and beige shorts and Toms...
He was also wearing a Ray Ban and was holding two cups of coffee from Starbucks...
He was walking towards me...
He gave me a dimpled smile as he approched me...


9ager: "9aba7 il 5air ya 7ilo.."
Shoug: "9aba7 il noor.." My face turned red...
9ager: "Shlonich?"
Shoug: "Zaina il 7amdellah.." I smiled
9ager: "Here you are..." He handed me one of the Starbucks coffees he was holding..
Shoug: "7ag mino...!"
9ager: "This is for you... 3ashan you start you day fresh.."
Shoug: "Awwww... Thank you... Your so kind..." I blushed and took the coffee from him..
9ager: "Your beautiful..."
Shoug: "Pardon me...?"
9ager: "Ha... La La wala shay... 3alach bil 3afya.."
Shoug: "Laish ta3bt ro7k.." My face was red like lava...
9ager: "La ta3b wala shay..."
Shoug: "Mashkooor..." I smiled
9ager: "Your always welcome..." He gave me dimpled smile...


I looked at my phone...
I then looked back at 9ager...


Shoug: "Yala.. We have Algebra..."
9ager: "Yala emshay... I will go with you.."
Shoug: "Okay.." I smiled shyly
9ager: "Girls first.." he smiled


I gave him a smile.. and walked and he walked beside me...





I was interrupted by 9ager..

9ager: "Shoug...!" He said it in a worried tone..
Shoug: "Ha....."
9ager: "Ishfeech?"
Shoug: "You got me Starbucks to start my day fresh... And you told me i was beautiful... And i made myself as if i didn't hear what you said... And girls first...."
9ager: "You remember.....?!!!!!" He had a big smile on his face...
Shoug: "Eeee...."

He put his hands on my face and rubbed his hands against my cheeks...

His hands were like fire on my cheeks...
They made me go red...
They made my heart beat faster...
9ager: "Shoug.... I know you will remember me.... Shoug..." He stared in my eyes and kept rubbing his hands against my cheeks... "I miss you like hell Shoug.... I can't wait till the day that you will be mine.... Mine forever.... Amoot fich...."

I just stared into his eyes...
I was remembering...
Was my brain memory problem going to get better...?

9ager got up...
9ager: "Goomay Shoug..."
He pulled his hand out to help me get up...

I put my hand in his hand and got up...

I felt the warmth of his hands...
I felt how cozy they were...
I felt his strongness...
I smiled to myself...

We began to walk...
He stopped near a swing...

I sat on the swing...
He began to push me slowly...
I enjoyed the swing...


Shoug: "Tell me more things about me..."
9ager: "Emmm you love peaches...."
Shoug: "Did i tell you that..?"
9ager: "No...."
Shoug: "Then how do you know that..."
9ager: "I know a lot about you Shoug...." I blushed at his words...
Shoug: "Emmmm... Inzain what happened to Lulu..?"
9ager: "Lulu is back to University..!"
Shoug: "And Jaber...?"

9ager continued to push the swing...
He was pushing harder...

9ager: "Jaber is fine..."
Shoug: "And how about our University... What will happen to us..?"
9ager: "You step dad fixed everything..."
Shoug: "How..."
9ager: "Sawa wa96a... Madree shlon bs he fixed everything..!"
Shoug: "Okay...."

9ager was going really fast..
He pushed me so hard...
Shoug: "9ager ishfeek... Your going fast..."
He kept pushing me hard...
I went really fast...

Shoug: "Eee 9ager... baaaaasss..."
9ager: "Gooolay a7bik awal...."
Shoug: "Ma ra7 agool... wagif...."
9ager: "Mabiii......"

9ager began to laugh at me...

Shoug: "9ager wallah a5af... bs..."

He ignored me...

9ager: "Goolay a7bik....!"

I was going so fast..

I felt as if i was flying...

9ager then suddenly held my waist with both his arms... Stopping the swing...
His grip was strong on my waist...
He put his head near my ear on my shoulders...
And he whispered some words in my ears....

9ager: "La t5afeen w entay ma3ay.... I will always protects you... I promise..."

I felt his breath against my ear and cheeks...
I felt the atmosphere getting tenser...
I was breathing loudly and fastly...
My heart was beating fast...
My face went scarlet....
I could feel his warm hands around my waist...

9ager: "Bs wallah fedatich w entay itgolen a7bik three times..." He laughed...

I turned around and slapped his arm playfully...

9ager: "5ala9 5ala9 lat3a9ib il 7ilwa..."

I giggled...

9ager: "Yalla goomay lets get some ice cream...."
Shoug: "Okay...."

I got up and we walked towards Baskin Robbins... It was near the park...
I ordered Parline and Cream
and 9ager ordered the same...

We walked around the park while eating our ice creams...


Shoug: "Shino akthar shay it7ib itsawe...?"
9ager: "Emmm '3ar ina ashoofich kil yom w ina i make you go crazy and make fun of you alittle.... Emmm I like playing sports and driving cars..."
Shoug: "Laaaa... Make fun of me....!!"
9ager: "Eeee.... You and your tomato face.... How about you...?"
Shoug: "Emmmm shopping and spending time in parks and in natural places...."
9ager: "That's what girls do... Shop... Shop... Shop...."
Shoug: "La mashallah 3alakom entaw... All you do is Sports and Cars...."

Shoug: "Laaa.... Mashay 9ager ana a3almik...!!"

I looked at the ice cream that was in my hand which i was licking....
I then looked back at 9ager....!!!

I held the cold ice cream and put it on 9agers face...
I rubbed it on his cheeks with my hands and on his nose and all over his mouth...

9ager gave me a look which meant "I am soooo going to show you..."

9ager: "Gadha...????"
Shoug: "Eeee....." I laughed....
9ager: "Mashy ya Shoug....."
Shoug: "La la 9ager i am a girl.... Don't even think of putting ice cream on me..."

9ager ignored me...
He held the ice cream and put it all over my face...
My cheeks were all ice cream...

Shoug: "9aaaaggggggggeeeeeeerrrrr...!!!!" I said it in a dalo3a tone...

9ager laughed...
We sat down on the grass and I held a tissue and began to whip the ice cream off my face and so did 9ager...
At last i was able to take the ice cream off...

9ager: "Shoug there is some ice cream near you mouth..."

I tried to whip it off...
I felt embarrassed..
But i didn't know where it was...

9ager: "Give me..."
He took the tissue from me and whipped the ice cream off slowly while looking at my eyes...
I looked at his eyes too...
His thick black eyelashes were so adorable...
He was cute...

I felt that it was weird...
9ager just sat there staring at my eyes...
I decided to say something

Shoug: "Yalla goom lets walk...."
9ager: "Yalla..."

While we were getting up i swear i heard his sniff me...

9ager: "You smell like Parline and Cream with some Herbal Essences..."

I laughed....


We spent the rest of the day walking in the park and playing with some of the children which were there...
We met two children...
One was called Rebecca and the other was called Chris...
They were twins...
They were soooooo cute....


It was so fun...
I enjoyed my time..
We had Lunch in a restaurant called 'THE NOTE"...
It was yummy...
We decided to go back to the hotel since we were tired...



We got to the hotel...
9ager went to his room and i locked my door and changed into my PJ'S...

9ager then knocked the door...
I untied my hair and left my hair down and then opened the door...

9ager looked at my shirt...
He read the words...

9ager: "You're on my wish list...."

I giggled in shyness...

9ager: "You mean me right..." He blinked...
Shoug: "Maybe...."
9ager: "I know it's me...."
Shoug: "Wayd wath8 min nafsik...!!"
9ager: "Adree...."

I giggled again...

9ager: "Yalla ready for bed..?"
Shoug: "Eee..!!"
9ager: "Yalla in your bed...!!"

I felt like a kid when he said that...
I got in bed and he covered me...

9ager: "Goodnight and sweet dreams Shoug... I love you...!"

I smiled at his lovely words...

Shoug: "Goodnight...!!"

He then switched off the lights and went to his room and closed the door...
I got up and locked the door and went back to bed...
I didn't know it but i slept...
I was tired.....

I woke up feeling dizzy...
I got up and opened the curtains to let sunlight in...
It was a new fresh day....
I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face...
I then got out of the bathroom and headed to the mirror to brush my hair...
I made my hair in a fish tail

I then fixed my room...
I looked at the time, it was 10.00am...
I decided to sit in the brown hanged chair until 9ager woke up...

I got some nail polishs out of my bag and sat on the hanged chair...
I put on music {(Pay Phone - Maroon 5)} I loved the song...
I opened the nail polish and began to apply it..
I went to a club when i was younger... They taught me nail art and design...
It was so cool and girly and cute....

My nails looked like this when i was done:

Why did 9ager take a long time to wake up...
Offfffffff....
I continued to fix my nails and listen to music....

I opened my eyes to find this guy in a wheel chair infront of me...
He was fast asleep...
I felt as if i knew him...

Shoug: "WHERE AM I???" I said it in a loud voice... I was almost screaming...

Suddenly the guy in the wheel chair woke up...
He looked at me and smiled....

Shoug: "Enta mino...?"

He moved his wheel chair towards me....
Then he said..

Guy in the wheel chair: "Goodmorning Shoug... I am 9ager...!"
Shoug: "Where am I... What do you want from me...? How do you know me..?" I said it in a scared tone..
9ager: "Shoug you are in the hospital.... " and he said the whole story again... He told me who he was to me... He told me how we met... And that he loved me... And about the accident.. He told me about Jaber and Lulu and what happened to them.. He said about my brain memory problem... He told me about everything...

After he finished talking i closed my eyes and then opened them not remembering anything...

Shoug: "Where is my mum...?"
9ager:"She is going to come in a few minutes since we are travelling..!"
Shoug: "Travelling.....? WHERE? WHY?... WHAT???"
9ager: "We are going to America... There is a really good Doctor there and he will help you Shoug....!!" He kept calm...
Shoug: "YOUR A LIAR.... CALL MY MUM NOW....!!!" I yelled....

I could see how the words i said went into his heart like a knife...

9ager: "Okay calm down....." He said it sadly..

He held his phone and dailed some numbers....
He then put his phone on speaker....

Deeeeeet......

Deeeeeeeet.......

Deeeeeeeeeeet.......

Deeeeeeeeeeeeeet.......

At last someone answered...

Mum: "Alooo..."
9ager: "Alooo halla 5alti... Shlonich?..."
Mum: "Zaina Tamam.... Shlon Shoug... Gamat min elnoom?"
9ager: "Shoug Tamam... Eee gamat...."
Mum: "Ti4akart shay?..."
9ager: "La...." He said it sadly....
Mum: "Ma 3alah... Yalla we are on the way.."
9ager: "Okay..."

He closed the phone and looked at me and gave me a dimpled smile...

9ager: "See....."
Shoug: "Do my parents know about us....? I mean our relationship..?"
9ager: "No... No one knows...."

He then came close to me...
I gave him a weird look....

9ager: "How are you today...?"
Shoug: "Fine..."
9ager: "I missed you..."
Shoug: "Excuse me.... Do i even know you.... I only know your name... I can't wait till my mum comes..."

He looked at me sadly...
I knew my words hurt him....
But come on... How would you feel like if you woke up to find yourself in a hospital room and find a weird guy in a wheel chair sleeping infront of you....
Creepy....


9ager: "Shoug i promise you, you will remember me... Just give it time...."
Shoug: "Shut up and stay away...." I said it meanly...

9ager looked so sad...
I could see how his eyes were forming tears...

9ager: "Ok as you wish...."

He moved his wheel chair away...

Suddenly the door knocked and in came my mum....

Mum: "Mama Shoug... Shlonich..?"
Shoug: "Mama ta3alay... Mino ha4a... He is so creepy..?"
Mum: "Shoug 7abibty this is 9ager...."
Shoug: "9ager who...?"
Mum: "7abibty 9ager is with you in University...."
Shoug: "How can he be with me when i didn't even start University... Today is the first day...!"
Mum: "No Shoug we are in October..."

I looked at her as if she was crazy....
9ager just sat in his wheel chair far away from me...
His tears were falling down his tanned face...
But he was trying to hide them...

Mama: "Don't worry Shoug... Come with me let me get you dressed..."

My mum helped me shower my hair and get dressed
I couldn't wear jeans cause my leg had a cast, so i wore a dress...

The Doctor told me i can take off the metal thing that was around my chest...
The metal thing was on me because they thought my back bone was broken, but it wasn't...
The Doctor even said i could take off the cast that was on my head...

So i only had one cast... Around my right leg...

I wore this with silver flat shoes...:

My mum helped me change and then she told me to sit in bed, while she went to talk to the Doctor...


I sat and did my hair in a messy high pony tail...
I then looked at 9ager...
I found him staring at me...
That was so creepy..

He changed his clothes... He was wearing beige shorts and a red hollister shirt...
The two casts he had, around his leg and head, weren't there anymore...
I looked to find two sticks near the door...
I think they were for me...
He kept on staring at me and smiling...
I just smiled back...

He had this dimpled cute smile...
I think i was alittle harsh on him...
Maybe it's true...
Maybe he was saying the truth and i was kind of mean...
I told him shut up and i called him a liar and i yelled at him...
I really felt bad and embarrassed...
Then he started staring at my hand...
I felt werid...


Shoug: "9ager..."
9ager: "Halla..."
Shoug: "Why are you staring at my hand?..."
9ager: "Because i am dying to hold them...!"

My face was flushed with shyness..

Shoug: "Emm 9ager...!"
9ager: "3yona..?"
Shoug: "Emmmmm... I.... Emmmm... I am sorry about what i said.... I didn't mean it...!!" I said it while looking at the ground...
9ager: "It's okay.... I understand..." He smiled calmly

I knew that under that smile was a broken heart...

Shoug: "Emmmmm... Where are your casts...?"
9ager: "The doctor said i could take them off...!"
Shoug: "Oh okay...." I smiled

Suddenly someone opened the door..
A head popped in...
It was my Mum...

Mum: "9ager you get Shoug while i get the car... Okay..!!"
9ager: "Okay 5alti..."

My mum closed the door and went to get the car...
9ager then walked towards me...

9ager: "Yalla Shoug let me help you... Emmmm.. Can i hold you..?" He asked shyly...
Shoug: "Emmmm.... Eee...!!" I blushed...

I put my legs down and he wrapped his arm around me and held my hand...
I felt his strong grip and his muscles...
His hands were warm and amazing...
He made me feel safe...
He kept staring at my eyes... While i stared at the ground...

He walked to the door and gave me the sticks...
I held them and walked...



We got to the airport and the checking was made...
We rode the airplane...
And we were off...
I kept on thinking about 9ager...
I was really sad about what i said...
I am sooooooooooo stupid... Why did i say that..

Finally we got to America and we went to the hotel...
Me and my mum were in a room and 9ager was in another room...
But our rooms were connected by a door..
He could hear everything that happened in our room..
There was just a door between us...
If he opened the door he would be in our room...


The room looked something like this:

It was nice... classy... comfortable...
There was a a brown hanged chair...
I really loved these...
I loved sitting in them and putting my legs up...

We orderd food and ate..
We decided to go to the Dr. Van Weak tomorrow...
We relaxed the whole day...
And 9agers eyes just wouldn't get off me...
The day was over and i slept....
I hope tomorrow i wouldn't forget today...

I woke up in the morning to find my mum sleeping next to me...
I woke her up and asked her where we were...
She sat and explained everything..
She begged me not to treat 9ager harshly because he was already hurt and was feeling guilty about the accident, since he was the one who was driving....

9ager was up and we went to the doctor...





Dr. Van Weak: "Hello Shoug... Your mum told me everything... Now i want to check up on somethings so would you come with me..."

I left my mum and 9ager and went with him...
He made some check ups and whatever...
After all the check ups we went to a room and my mum and 9ager were sitting there waiting for me...

9ager smiled...
I could see the sadness under his smile...
He was only smiling to make me feel okay....

Dr Van Weak: "Shoug your brain is stuck on a date... You wake up thinking it's September 1st... I have many people that i cured that were like you... Some of them would every hour... And to get cured you have to stay with a person you met after September 1st..."
Shoug: "But i don't remember who i met after September 1st..."
Mum: "Shoug you met 9ager on September 2nd.... The second day of University.."
9ager: "Ya... In algebra class..."
Shoug: "I think so...."
Dr. Van Weak: "Good... Now she has to stay about a month with 9ager... She won't remember him... Everyday you will have to remind her 9ager... She has to spend most of her time with with you... 9ager you have to tell her things that you know about her... Things that happened between you... Or things that happened with her... But if anything happens.. For example if she wakes up remembering you.... I want you to act normal, don't go crazy... Act normal... Just continue the day normally.... And call me and tell me if she remembers... Don't worry she will be fine..."
Mum: "Okay... Thank you Doctor..."


We got out and went back to the hotel...

Its been two weeks now...
My mum had to go back to Kuwait because she has work...
She visits us in the weekends and we talk to her on skype..
My step dad keeps sending us money and in large amounts...
He would send them sometimes with my mum even...

The cast that was on my leg was taken off...

9ager would wake up every morning reminding me of what happened and telling me everything...
9ager would take me out everyday...
We would have lunch... Get ice cream.. Shop...
We would go to parks... Go to the cinema...
We would go to malls and museums...
He would talk about our University...
He would tell me everything that happened between us...
He would tell me the same thing every single day...

9ager never got dirty with me..
He was always kind... understanding... sweet...
Ya3ni kan mo7taram...
He respected me...

We would have fun the whole day and then the second day i wouldn't know who he was...
He would do the same thing everyday...

Everynight before i sleep he would cover me and kiss me on the forehead...
He then closes the door of my room and goes to his room..
I then quickly get up and lock the door..
It's not that i didn't feel safe... But just incase...

I hear him every single night praying that i remember him...
And that i get better...

Today 9ager woke up and told me the same thing...
Gal nafs il mawal mal kil yoom...
Today is Wednesday... Thats what 9ager told me...



9ager: "Shoug... Do you wanna go out...?"
Shoug: "Okay.. bs i wanna take a shower first...!!"
9ager: "Okay I will go get dressed and wait for you...!"
Shoug: "Okay...!"


I got up and took a shower...
I always use Herbal Essences... It was my favourite....
When i finished i got dressed into this:

I made my hair in a messy bun and appiled some make up...
I put some of my Rouge Artist Intense Matt Number 4...
Then i sat in the brown hanged chair and put one leg over another...
I began to think of 9ager....

I still didn't forget them because the day wasn't over...
I knew that tomorrow i will forget 9ager...
I felt so bad from myself...
I didn't want to break 9ager's heart...

I stared at 9agers eyes....
His eyes were breath taking...
His eyes had sadness in them...
I can see how blue he was...
How his heart was broken...
I can see the pain in his eyes...
This was all from me...
Why did i have to do this to him...
Why did i have this brain memory problem...

Suddenly 9ager spotted me awake...
He moved his wheel chair towards me...

9ager: "Hi Shoug... How are you feeling..?" He gave me a dimpled smile....

I knew that under this beautiful smile were tears...
He was hurt...
I could see it in his eyes...

Shoug: "Good...." I smiled back...
9ager: "You still remember me right..."
Shoug: "Ya i remember you... Your 9ager... But i know that tomorrow i won't remember you...."
9ager: "It's okay Shoug don't worry... We are going to travel tomorrow... And you will get better..."
Shoug: "Where?"
9ager: "America... There is a Doctor called Dr. Van Weak... He is a very good Doctor... And i am sure that he will help us and you will get better Shoug... It's all from me... I am sorry..."

9ager began to cry....

Shoug: "Please 9ager don't cry... Please... Please.. It's not your fault... Don't say that...!!"
9ager: "I am sorry Shoug..."
Shoug: "Don't be..."

9ager quickly whipped his tears away with the back of his hand....

My mum held her bag and my step dad took his keys...
They both went out leaving me and 9ager in the room...

9ager sat in his wheel chair and was staring at me...

9ager: "Shoug... I miss you.." He said it while gazing in my eyes...
Shoug: "9ager i am sorry... I don't really know who you are.. I only know alittle about you...!!"
9ager: "Don't worry you will remember.. I have faith..."

He stood from his wheel chair and hopped a bit...

I sat up and moved my legs...
I couldn't cross my legs..
One of my legs had a cast around it...

9ager jumped in the bed and sat infront of me...

Shoug: "Now what..?"
9ager: "Look... I will tell you things about you and maybe you remember something..."

9ager: "Your pretty..."
Shoug: "And...." I blushed
9ager: "Your sweet..."
Shoug: "And...." My face went pink
9ager: "Your adorable..."
Shoug: "And..." I was soooo red now

9ager: "Okay okay.... Emmmm.... You love cookies and cream milkshake from dlush....."

Suddenly when he said that i felt dizzy... I closed my eyes....

Me and 9ager were standing infront of Dlush...
We were at 360 mall
My face was a rosy color... I was shy...
Suddenly 9ager began to talk...

9ager: "Emmm excuse me.... I want one medium size cookies and cream...."
I was standing there shocked at what 9ager said....

9ager: "Emmm make that two..."
I looked even more shocked when he said that...

Shoug: "Eshdarak ena a7ba?"
9ager: "I know a lot about you Shoug... I told you i love you..."

I was brought back from my flashback by 9ager....


9ager: "Shoug.... Shoug Ishfeech...."
Shoug: "You knew that i loved cookies and cream from dlush and when i asked you how you knew you told me you know a lot about me and that you loved me...."
9ager: "You remember Shoug... You remembered..... Shoug... Shoug..."

I could see 9agers tears of happiness...
He had a big dimpled smile on his face...

9ager: "Shoug wallah a7bich.... and i would do anything for you..."
9ager said it while playing with my wavy hair...

9ager looked tired...
His wavy hair was messy...
He looked thinner in the hospital clothes...

I wish i could remember everything...
I wish i could know every detail of what happened between me and 9ager...

Shoug: "9ager I don't want to forget you tomorrow... please... I promise i will try to remember... 9ager I know your tired and i messed up your life... 9ager if your fed up.... Go... Leave me... There are over a million other girls that would want to be your future wife.... I am just a stupid girl with a stupid brain memory problem... 9ager I won't stop you... 9ager I...."

I was interupted by 9ager...

9ager: "Shhhhhhhh..." He put his soft muscled amazing hands on my mouth to stop me talking... "Don't say this Shoug... I will never think of leaving you... You are my heart.. I can't live without my heart... I will never love anyone else... You are my life... W entay mo maynoona.... La tgoleen 3an nafsich chithy... Ana ily maynoon ib 7obich...."

My face went scarlet...
My heart was beating fast...

9ager: "I missed your tomato face..." He said it while pinching my cheeks....

I giggled....



Shoug: "9ager...?"
9ager: "3yoona....?"

I blushed at his words...

Shoug: "Are my parents that free...?"
9ager: "What do you mean.."
Shoug: "No ya3ni they left you with me... Ya3ni 3adii..."
9ager: "No they think that i am spending time with you cause i am feeling guilty and that i am trying to help and whatever..!!"
Shoug: "So your sitting with me for another reason?..." I said it in a mad tone
9ager: "No you understood wrong... I am feeling guilty and i wanna help but there is another reason that is more important then all this..."
Shoug: "And what's this reason..." My voice was still mad...

9ager held my hand.... And squeezed it tightly...
He then held my hand and put it on his chest where his heart was...

9ager: "Shoug... What do you feel..."
Shoug: "You heart beats..."
9ager: "Do you know without you this heart wouldn't beat... A7bich ya 5ibla... W amoot fich ba3ad..."

My face went bloody red....

Shoug: "Mmmmmm..."
9ager: "Fedait ily 3a9bat gabil ilshway ana... Fedaitha...."
Shoug: "9ager bs..." I said it in a daloo3a tone..

I tried to pull my hand back but his grip was strong...
He then kissed my hand...

I felt heat run up and down my body...

9ager got up and got out of my bed...
He hopped and sat in his wheel chair...

9ager: "I will stay here..."

I knew that he was tired...
He looked so handsome and cute...
I was really scared of loosing him..

9ager was so sweet...
I was already falling in love with him...

I am so happy i remembered something...

I remembered...
But tomorrow i will forget him...
I didn't want to forget him...

Shoug: "9ager where is Jaber and Lulu..?" I said it in a worried tone...
9ager: "Don't worry... Lulu is fine... the doctor told her that she has to stay home for a week... She just has some scars and a broken leg...."

9ager: "Jaber is fine.... He is at home... He has a broken neck and some scars... Don't worry..."
Shoug: "I really miss them.... Why can't i remember anything..?" I began to cry...
9ager: "Calm down Shoug... When you are ready to remember you will remember...!!!"

Suddenly before 9ager could continue....
Someone knocked the door....

My heart skipped a beat...
Did my parents know about 9ager and our relationship that i couldn't even remember??....


I looked at the door to see who it was....
It was the Doctor...

Doctor: "Hello Shoug... Hello 9ager...!!"
Shoug: "Hi..."
9ager: "Hi..."

The Doctor was checking on the wires that were attached to me and he was checking on the machine that was next to me...

Doctor: "How are you feeling Shoug?..."
Shoug: "Good..."
Doctor: "And how about you 9ager...?"
9ager: "I am fine..."
Doctor: "9ager it's time for you to go... Shoug has to rest...."
9ager: "Okay...."
Doctor: "Come on.... You have to rest too 9ager... You have to stay in your room.... I told you, you can stay just one hour a day with Shoug... You have to recover from the surgery.."
9ager: "But one hour a day is not enough....!!" He said it in a sad tone...
Doctor: "Don't worry 9ager... She will get better..."
9ager: "Okay..."


9ager moved his wheel chair and went out the room....



Shoug: "Doctor is 9ager sleeping in the hospital..?"
Doctor: "Yes... He had a surgery in his brain because he hit his head hard on the steering wheel.... There was 50% that the surgery would fail, but thank god it didn't fail....  He didn't stop saying your name in the surgery Shoug..... "

The doctor went outside and closed the door...
I began to think about what the doctor just said...
Did 9ager really love me...
Did he really say my name in the surgery....


I really wanted to remember but there was nothing...
9ager was a stranger to me...

But everything was black...

I didn't want to break 9ager's heart..
He looked sweet and kind....

I closed my eyes....
I had a headache...

I opened my eyes to find a tall, bold, fat man infront of me....

Shoug: "Who are you...?"
Doctor: "I am Doctor Jassim Shoug...!"
Shoug: "Where am I....?"

I looked around to find my mum and a guy in a wheel chair...
My mum walked closer to me...

Shoug: "Mama where am I...?"
Mama: "What's wrong Shoug...? Your in the hospital...!"
Shoug: "What.... Why..?"

My mum looked at the doctor as if i was crazy....

Mama: "Doctor what's wrong with her... Why doesn't she remember what happened yesterday..?"

What are they saying...? Where am I...? Remember what yesterday....!!!!

Doctor: "Shoug what is the date today..?"
Shoug: "Today is September 1st... The first day of University of 2nd year...."
Doctor: "Oh no....."
Mama: "What's wrong Doctor...?"
Doctor: "Can i have a word with you outside please...?"
Mama: "Okay okay...!"

They both walked out and closed the door...
Where was I...
Who is that guy in the wheel chair...

I looked at myself...
I was in a bed...
I was wearing a white hospitals dress...
And there were wires attached to me...
My head was wrapped and so was my leg...
There was a metal thing around my chest...

Suddenly the guy in the wheel chair moved towards me...

Guy in wheel chair: "Shoug....!"
Shoug: "Who are you.... How do you know my name...?"
Guy in wheel chair: "Ana 9ager Shoug ishfeech..?"
Shoug: "I don't know you... Leave me alone... Where am I.... Who are you..?"

The guy in the wheel chair began to cry, I could see his tears...
He then moved his wheel chair and went outside...


I thought to myself:
WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING HERE..?


Outside the room with the Doctor.....

Mama: "What is wrong Doctor?"
Doctor: "Shoug has a very big problem... Her brain is stuck on the date September 1st..."
Mama: "What do you mean?"
Doctor: "It means every day she will wake up not remembering what happened yesterday... She only remembers what happened on September 1st... So when she wakes up tomorrow she will think it is September 1st..."
Mama: "WHAT????"
Doctor: "Calm down miss..."
Mama: "And what is the solution for this???"
Doctor: "I am sorry but you will have to take her outside the country... I advice you to take her to
Dr. Van Weak in America... He is one of the best doctors...."
Mama: "Are you telling me that everyday she will wake up and say it is September 1st and she thinks it's the first day of University..."
Doctor: "Yes... Her brain is stuck on that date..."

9ager was just sitting there and listening to what the Doctor was saying....
My mum began to cry, she couldn't digest what the doctor said, she fainted....

The Doctor held my mum....
Doctor: "Excuse me... Someone... I need help here..."


9ager was shocked...
His heart was broken...
He really missed Shoug....
He was prepared to do anything to help her....

9ager: "It's all my fault... If i didn't say lets eat outside non of this would of happened...."
9ager began to cry... "Ana 7maaaaar... ana 7aywan..." He continued to cry...

Doctor: "No 9ager it's not your fault don't say that... Leave your faith in God big...."



Back to Shoug...


Before i continue i will tell you a summary of what is happening...:


Shoug was in an accident with Lulu, 9ager and Jaber....
Lulu is at home recovering...
And so is Jaber...
9ager had a surgery in his brain becuase his head hit hard on the steering wheel... But thank god he is better now.. As the surgery was a success...
9ager is still sleeping in the hospital and recovering...
Shoug is in the hospital... She cannot remember anything after the date September 1st...
She met 9ager after September 1st...
She met him on the second day of University in algebra class which is on September 2nd...
Shoug woke up today morning not knowing what happened yesterday..
Her brain is stuck on the date September 1st...
So everyday she will wake up not remembering 9ager, even if she remembered him the day before....
She wakes up everyday thinking its September 1st...
The doctor advised Shoug's Mum to travel outside the country to get help from Dr. Van Weak in America...

In the hospital...

The doctor came back in the room...

Doctor: "Shoofay Shoug........" And he explained eveything...
He told me about the accident and that the guy in the wheel chair is 9ager and that we love each other and that my parents don't know... He told me about Jaber and Lulu and what happened to them...
He told he told me everything....
He even told me that i had a problem and that my brain was stuck on the date September 1st and that tomorrow he would have to repeat all this again because tomorrow i will have forget all what he said... He said that tomorrow i wouldn't know who he was and i won't know who 9ager was...

After his long talk i felt very tired...
I closed my eyes and fell asleep...
I slept a lot and this was normal...
I was still tired and weak and i was recovering....

I woke up to hear people talking...
My eyes were still shut but i could hear people talking...



Mum: "Bs ma ynfa3... Lazim tig3ad bil Kuwait 3ashan Jaber w Ali..."
3ami: "W Shoug... ma y9eer itro7een ib ro7ich..."
Mum: "Ya3ni shino asawee ba3ad... 5ala9 3ady.."
9ager: "Inzain 5alti ana agdar aroo7 ma3ach..."
Mum: "La mafee da3ii.."
9ager: "This is my fault and i want to pay the price... Please 5alti... I already feel guilty..."
3ami: "5ala9 5ali 9ager yroo7 ma3ach..."
Mum: "Bs 9ager ta3ban..."
9ager: "La ana mo ta3ban... Bil 3aks ana r7 a7s bil thanb 6ool 7ayatii..."
Mum: "5ala9 okay... 9ager you can come with us..."
3ami: "Yalla now i will reserve three tickets for tomorrow morning..."




I forced myself to open my eyes...
Everything was blured....
I looked at the time it was 9.00pm

My eyes were shut... But i could hear people talking...

I could recognize one of the voices....
It was my mum...
I couldn't see anything but BLACK....!!!

I forced all my strenght and opened my eyes...
I kept on blinking....
All i saw was blured....

I was in a white hospital dress...
I was sitting in a bed...

Mama: "Shoug..."

I looked to find My mum... My step dad.... Ali.... And this guy sitting in a wheel chair...

I looked at them....
I couldn't see them well...
Everything was totally blured....

Ali: "Shoug 7abibty... Shoug goomay..."

My step dad put his hand on my arm...

The blur was going away...
I was in the hospital....

My head was heavy...
My head was wrapped and one of my legs were wrapped...
I had something around my chest... It was a metal thing....

Mama: "Shoug it3arfeen ana mino..."
Ali: "Shoug ana Ali o5oj..."
Mama: "Mama 7abibty ana omij.."

I didn't speak i just looked at them...

Suddenly someone knocked at the door...
It was the Doctor....

Doctor: "Hello Shoug... How are you... I am Doctor Jassim... How do you feel..?"

He was tall, bold and fat... He was wearing doctor clothes...
And he had a tag with his name on it....
He also had a pen in his top right pocket of the doctors coat...
I didn't answer... I just stared at him....

Doctor: "Shoug... Can you hear me... Shoug..."

He walked towards me and put his hand in my hand...

Doctor: "Shoug if you can hear me squeeze my hand..."

I squeezed his hand with all my strenght...

I felt tired... I felt week....

Doctor: "Good Shoug Good... Now Shoug.. Do you know who this is...." He pointed towards my mother... "If you know who she is squeeze my hand again..."

I knew who she was...
I recognized her voice and her face...
She was my mum..

I squeezed the doctor's hand again....

Doctor: "Good Shoug... Very good... Now... I want you to talk.... I will ask you one more question and i want you to talk.... Ok....."

I looked at my mum and looked back at the Doctor...

Doctor: "Okay Shoug... What is the last thing you remember...?"

I closed my eyes...
I tried to remember...!
I then opened my eyes and I forced myself to open my mouth and talk...


Shoug: "Emmmmmm.... The last thing i remember was me in the University and it was my first day of 2nd year........"

Suddenly when i said it i heard my mother cry and my step dad looked sad...
I could also see Ali's tears fall down his face...

Doctor: "Ok good good... Good Shoug... Now.... Do you remember a guy called 9ager...?"

Shoug: "9ager....! Emmmmmmm I heard the name before... Wait.... Emmmmm.... Sorry No....."

The guy in the wheel chair began to cry...
I looked at him...
He looked so sad...
He had something a case around his head and another case around his leg...
He moved towards me with his wheel chair...

The guy: "Shoug... Shoug... Do you remember me...."
Shoug: "Emmmmm..... No... Sorry..."

The guy began to cry....

He turned around and went out of the room, trying to hide his tears...

I looked at the doctor....

Shoug: "Where am I...?"
Doctor: "Shoug you are in the hospital you have been here for about 2 weeks now... Shoug today is October 17th...."
Shoug: "No... Today is September 1st... It is the first day of University..."
Doctor: "No Shoug... You were in an accident... Shoug...."

I looked at him as if he was a werido....
My mum came to me...
She was covered with tears...

She was crying...

Mum: "Shoofay Shoug ha4a 3amij" and she pointed to my step dad... "W ana amoij..." She pointed to herself... "W ha4a Ali o5oj..." she pointed to Ali...

Shoug: "Adree uma..."

Mum: "Ilyoom October 17th Shoug... Entay kintay ib 7adith... Ma3 Jaber w 9ager w Lulu.."

I recognized Jaber... He was my brother...
I recognized Lulu.. She was my friend..

But who was 9ager...?

Shoug: "Mino 9ager...?"

My mum walked away crying she couldn't hold herself...
Ali walked towards me....

Ali: "Hi shoug..."
Shoug: "Hey..."
Ali: "9ager was with you in the accident... He is Jaber's friend... He is with you in University... He sits next to you in Algebra class... He is the guy in the wheel chair that was here a minute ago..."
Shoug: "I don't know him..."
Ali: "It's okay... It's okay..."

Doctor: "Shoug you have to sleep now ok....."
Mama: "I will stay here..."
Doctor: "No... You all go home... You have to get a rest... I will let the nurse stay here..."

He began to cry....

The room was dark...
